The SBCA SOL School of Law Government, in collaboration with the SBCA Volunteer Corps, hosted the annual Lex Celebrationis at the SBCA Complex from April 11–13, 2024.

Lex Celebrationis 2024 kicked off with an exciting opening ceremony, followed by welcoming remarks and an oath of sportsmanship by SLG President Dante Castillo. The Sportsfest brought law students together for three days of exhilarating athletic competitions and camaraderie, wherein it showcased the talents, teamwork, and sportsmanship of the SOL community.

SLG President Dante Castillo shared that Lex Celebrationis was organized so that students can enjoy it no matter what their hobbies or interests are.

“This time around, since we’re trying to add more games to accommodate more students, we delegated the tasks to other students who showed interest in organizing these games. Since these students have an actual interest in sports, they are well-versed in the sport and well-aware of the needs and wants of each of the players. That way, we were able to meet those needs and wants,” added Castillo.

During the three-day event, the law students eagerly participated in a variety of physical sports, ranging from basketball and volleyball to an interactive relay race. In addition to the physical sports, online games (Mobile Legends and Valorant) and board games (Chess Tournament) were also conducted.
