MUNTINLUPA, PH– The San Beda College Alabang School of Law Centralized Bar Operations (SBCA-SOL CBO), steadfast in their purpose of supporting bar exam candidates, stays their course in making sure that the bar takers are fully prepared for their bar examinations.
CBO kicked off its 2025 Bar Examinations prep with an online Town Hall meeting on February 21, 2025—laying down various programs and projects to aid the bar takers. Followed by its first onsite Town Hall on February 28, 2025, which reinforced the readiness of the bar examinees.
SBCA-CBO does not only offer informative talks and seminars; they also provide first-rate academic materials to bar takers. The organization made sure to do so by affiliating with the Bedan Law Review for bar-related academic resources. In addition, CBO partnered with the San Beda University RGCT-Bar Operations Center to help SBCA-SOL students with the purchase of the Bedan Red Book at a discounted price.
The 2025 Bar Lecture Series, available not only to Bedan bar takers but also to all bar takers nationwide, has also been continued. The initiative is a collaboration between the organization and the school’s professors who conduct online lectures through Zoom. Lawyers who are experts in their fields, such as Atty. John Jacome in Judicial and Legal Ethics, as well as Atty. Paulino Ungos Jr. and Atty. Paulino Ungos lll in Labor Law, has been invited. Bar Syllabi Workbooks for Days 1, 2, and 3 and Bar Lecture Transcription Notes were then circulated on April 17-19, 2025.
Furthermore, SBCA-CBO also offers the Bar Mentoring Program. This well-honed practice provides a personal level of guidance and support for the bar takers. The program helps in academic and emotional support of the bar takers; they can ask questions and even share a bit of what troubles them with their mentors. The support from their mentors and fellow mentees provides a safe bubble for them in preparation for the bar exams.
SBCA-CBO proves to be a vital force in the support of Bedan bar takers. They are unwavering in their goal to assist bar takers until the finish line.
“It takes a Bedan community to raise a lawyer. All that we do, serving our bar takers, comes from a common ground, and that is our love for our Bedan bar takers”, said Pia Monica Dimaguila, the SBCA-CBO Overall Chairperson.
