MUNTINLUPA, PH—On October 29, 2024, the San Beda College Alabang School of Law (SBCA SOL) unveiled a memorial wall in the St. Maur library, paying tribute to former faculty members.

The wall features portraits of twelve notable names from the history of San Beda College Alabang School of Law (SBCA SOL) namely Atty. Maximo Amurao, Atty. Romeo Batino, Atty. Bruce Rivera, Atty. Floresto Arizala Jr. M.D., Dean Eulogia Cueva, Dean Virgilio Jara, Vice Dean Risel Castillo-Taleon, Dean Ed Vincent Albano, Former Senator Rene Saguisag, Judge Alberto Serrano, Atty. Mr. Edwardson Ong Suco, an employee of the SBCA Museum, shared that they wanted to inspire aspiring lawyers of SOL to look at these people and learn from their achievements. He highlighted how each one fought for a cause and strived to serve the community.

The ceremony commenced with a holy mass for the deceased, presided over by Father Rembert Tumbali. During his homily, Father Tumbali recalled memories he shared with some of the departed, specifically Vice Dean Castillo-Talleon, who accompanied him and the students in a moot court competition. He referred to her as the “Mother of Lions.”
