MUNTINLUPA PH — On January 16-18, 2025, the whole community of San Beda College-Alabang (SBCA) celebrated its annual Sto. Niño Festival within campus premises.

Dean Ulpiano “Ulan” P. Sarmiento III of the School of Law (SOL), Hermano Mayor for this year’s Sto. Niño festivities, led the Enthronement Ceremony at the SBCA Open Field.

For the opening ceremony, Fr. Gerardo Ma. De Villa, OSB, delivered a speech while Integrated Basic Education and the Technical High School performed the Indian Chant, Sinulog Dance, and Festival Dance.

The first day concluded with the 8th Day Novena Mass, Eucharistic Procession, and Vigil.

In addition, Rene A. V. Saguisag Legal Aid Center (RAVSLAC) offered free legal services to the public throughout the festival.

The SBCA community also mobilized for a procession that passed through BF Homes from the Buencamino gate until attendees circled back to the school’s inner grounds. Residents of BF Homes also join by displaying idols of Sto. Nino in front of their homes.

Dean Ulpiano Sarmiento III expressed his gratitude to the whole community for making the festivities a success.

The concert began with a fireworks display, followed by performances of bands hailing from SBCA’s high school population, as well as popular local bands – Trails of Orange Peels, CHDTR, and Over October.
