CBO congratulates the 215 New Bedan Lawyers

MANILA, PH—The SBCA Centralized Bar Operations conducted a three-part celebration last April 29, 2023, to commemorate the impressive feat of the 215 Bedan passers in the 2022 Bar examinations. The whole Bedan community was also proud to announce that Atty. Luigi Nico M. Reyes managed to get the 7th place out of 3,992 successful examinees. 

In the testimonial ceremony, Vice Dean Carlo Busmente led the opening remarks followed by a warm welcome message from Atty. Jun Cadugo.  

“Your Success in this rigorous exam is a manifestation of your hard work, dedication, perseverance, and steadfast faith in our good shepherd who is the source of all that is good. I welcome you all to the legal profession and enjoined you to embrace [a] new role with a strong sense of commitment and purpose,” said Vice Dean Busmente.

 Thereafter, Atty. Luigi Nico M. Reyes was awarded in light of his achievement of placing 7th in the 2022 Bar examinations. Atty. Reyes delivered his motivational speech to his fellow Bedans. 

“We have been blessed with the opportunity to make meaningful changes to the lives of others. Let us not waste this. The world is waiting. Let us serve the people,” said Atty. Reyes

Subsequently, Chairperson Atty. Melanie Trinidad gave an inspirational message.

“It is our choice, not chances, that determines our destiny. Be brave in your choices and delirious in your goals,” said Atty. Trinidad.  

Different organizations in San Beda Alabang School of Law also gave their warm congratulations to the newly minted Bedan lawyers followed by the retiring of the Impavidus theme. 

The event also acknowledged the commitment of the CBO team, Bar mentors, and School of Law administrators, who all imparted their invaluable time and effort to boost the confidence of the examinees. 

“Words cannot express our deep gratitude for our community’s outpouring of love and support. We are truly overwhelmed by the positive responses and we truly appreciate the excitement all of you have shown,” said CBO Overall Chairperson Kate Capulong.

During the bonfire celebration, the CBO performed lively songs and dance performances in the school field while law students and faculty enjoyed delectable foods donated by sponsors and fellow Bedans.
